Following World War II The United States and the Soviet Union (modern day Russia) were engaged in an ideological conflict called the "Cold War". In this unit we will examine the events of the Cold War, historic events leading to this conflict of ideas, and how current U.S. Russian relations have been impacted by the Cold War era.
